Update

I'm the biggest failure I know, sorry mom, you deserve a better daughter. And even though I feel so bad, I keep pushing the pedal to the metal.
I'm in the bottom. I've been having failure after failure.
Complete failure.

It is safe

Six years have passed since the incident. I called it incident, other people call it achievement. How can I believe that was an achievement? First, nothing here is really an achievement, there are no achievements, there are no failures. Second, that day I was deeply disappointed, all that I wanted, all that I expected, did not happen. The level that I wanted was not achieved. Worst of all, nobody seemed to understand me. When I told my friends about my frustration, they started to say the bad things that did not happen. They wrongly made me believe that it was bad to be ambitious, that is not necessary or good to fight, that we must accept what comes and don't complain about it but look for a good detail and think only about that detail. My buried self screamed: 'that is bullshit!'. But, of course, I could not say it loud. It was going to be me saying that the big picture was shitty, against 300 people saying that there were some nice details.
The problem is that this scenario keeps happening, but at least now I have 1 person who is going to scream with me, who is not afraid to say: 'that is bullshit!'
I know that I will succeed if I take care of myself, if I take risks, and if I have my fair portion of lucky randomness.

It is safe to win, it is safe to be ambitious, it is safe to try, it is safe to fight.

Depression after 27

I am sure you have heard about the 27 Club. If you haven't, it does not matter. Anyway, they say the 74 Club is more popular.
It was difficult to arrive to 27 but the difficulty was kind of interesting for me. And then, suddenly my interest surpassed the risk of suicide and I survived. I won't say things are better now. It just happens that now depression seems to be very far away. Bad things continue to happen, bad people still exits, days suck, expectations, goals, everything continues to be as bad or good as yesterday. But now it does not matter too much. It is almost boring. Suddenly you know one thing for sure: that you won't kill yourself. Or, even better, that you will kill yourself but you won't hurt your body.
Is it peaceful? Yeah. But the stories invented by the humans are still there pushing you to devote them your life.
There is a comical side in all this stuff. You see the real shit but you are not screaming about the stupidity of it. You are able to continue walking and maybe later you will be dancing.

Have a nice day.

Selfish regret

¿Alguna idea?

About us

Largas caminatas. Nada.
No podemos simplemente morir.

About the reality of things

When I was a child I used to think that everything around me was done by someone special with superpowers and a bunch of rules and laws. And that if you want to do something you need to accomplish those rules and have so much experience and knowledge. But now I realize there is no such thing. Now I know that everything was done by a human like me, and that sometimes that human is not smarter than me but he is persevering and with a strong desire to change the world. Of course you need some resources, but the indispensable resources are upon you. I mean, you need knowledge, and you can obtain it without so much trouble in this wonderful age of information.
The bottom line is that now I know I can change the world and do something awesome and helpful for the mankind and at the same time I can have a wonderful life.
And that is what I want.
It took me three years to realize this, but I'm happy. I'm so happy that I can finally really, really, understand this.

As always, books have been tremendously helpful to me.
